About Us
The NGO started as the Golden Gleams Initiative.
Got accreditation as the Golden Gleams Empowerment Foundation in October 2022.
Our purpose is to provide educational and psychosocial needs for girls who are dropping out of school in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria. We have the ambition to build strong scholarship, partnership, and advocacy programmes to return girls from underserved communities in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria, back to school to address the problems of school dropouts, child molestation, and child marriage, among other vices.
Golden Gleams has recorded tremendous success in her advocacy for continuous education, and unlimited positive aspirations for girls in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria, as well as imbibing positive habits for climate change. We have launched a tree planting practise while donating over five hundred trees to a community.
So far, we have partnered with TOSTAN, Al Alim International Schools, Global Career Accel, MacJob Alumni77, Global Socio-economic and Financial Evolution Network, NASFAT Youth Wing, and the Widow's Mite Foundation.

Climate Friendly Environment
Encouraging and exposing girls to SDGs is a major tool we've adopted to combat climate change. Train a girl, build the nation. (Cleaning exercise, tree planting among others)
Strengthened Economy
Over 6 million girls are out of school, economic empowerment, mentoring and free counselling sessions for parents and girls aids re-orientation towards education hence boosts local economies.
Capacity Building for Teachers & Stakeholders in Education
To maintain the retention of girls in schools, we organise workshops to train teachers on emotional intelligence, leadership skills, and more.
